The White Hart Country Inn Hawes

The White Hart Country Inn is a 16th Century Coaching Inn and is situated on the cobbled street in the market town of Hawes.  The whole building has been sympathetically renovated to retain the atmosphere of a traditional Inn but with a fresh, contemporary twist.

This is where we usually eat in Hawes. Booking is recommended as they do get busy, especially in the Summer season.

The White Hart is now under new management, Martin and the team ensuring the quality of service is maintained and improved upon.

The kitchens make a point of using well established local suppliers and supporting other businesses in the area.

The menus are compiled each season by Pat and her two chefs, with popular favourites rapidly becoming established. Food is prepared fresh every day in small batches and cooked to order.

Good food, good beer (Pub of the Year for North West Yorkshire CAMRA), good selection of wines, great atmosphere, great location…what more can you ask for?

A good range of food is on offer, from excellent staples to more contemporary dishes. Prices are good value and service very good.
